Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry that diagnoses and treats irregularities in the teeth and jaw structure.
Issues such as misaligned teeth, narrow jaw, or crowding can be corrected with orthodontic treatment.
This treatment not only provides an aesthetically pleasing smile but also ensures proper dental function.
Clear aligners or fixed braces are commonly used appliances for this treatment.
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment method that uses specialized software to design custom-made, clear, aesthetic, and comfortable aligners. These removable aligners help correct teeth and arches while offering a discreet and convenient solution.
Clear aligner treatment in children is a modern treatment method used for teeth correction. It is applied to correct orthodontic problems such as irregular teeth and jaw problems.
Braces, also known as orthodontic wire treatment, are fixed orthodontic appliances that have been used in orthodontics for years. They come in metal or ceramic options to help correct dental misalignments effectively.
After orthodontic treatment, a thin, discreet wire is bonded to the back surfaces of the lower and upper front teeth to prevent them from shifting back to their original positions.
The digital impression taken by the orthodontist—also known as an “intraoral 3D scan”—is transferred to a computer. Using specialized software, a treatment simulation is generated based on the orthodontist’s treatment plan.
With this personalized planning, patients can see and evaluate how long their treatment will take and what their final results will look like through the simulation.
Invisalign First is a clear aligner treatment designed specifically for children. It helps guide early tooth and jaw development, correcting crooked teeth and reducing the need for more extensive orthodontic treatment later on.
Before starting Invisalign First treatment, you can preview your child’s post-treatment smile through digital smile simulation. This technology allows you to visualize how the teeth will align, making it easier to choose the best orthodontic solution. With this aesthetic, comfortable, and personalized approach, healthy smiles are created for children.
Before starting orthodontic treatment, you may have some questions in mind. We’ve compiled the most frequently asked questions about clear aligners and braces for you. Here are the key things you need to know for a healthy and aesthetic smile!
Yes, clear aligners are very effective in correcting mild to moderate tooth misalignment. They provide successful results with regular use and doctor supervision.
Yes, clear aligners should be removed when eating and drinking hot drinks. This will also help you clean your teeth more easily.
The duration of treatment varies from person to person. Treatment with clear aligners usually lasts between 6-24 months, while with braces this period may be slightly longer.
There may be a slight adjustment period in the first few days, but most people quickly become accustomed to the aligners and do not notice any noticeable difference in their speech.
